The drive from Curitiba to Bonsai do Campo, in Porto Amazonas, is a trip into the interior of the state of Paraná that includes climbing the imposing Serra de São Luiz do Purunã, in the second Paraná Plateau, in the Campos Gerais region.
The route offers beautiful landscapes such as the sandstone cliffs of the Devonian Escarpment and the vast native fields that border the highway. About 80 kilometers further on, in the "Land of Apples," as Porto Amazonas is known, we find the iconic Iguaçu River that crosses the entire state of Paraná.
It is in this context that Bonsai do Campo is situated, a company specializing in the production and commercialization of bonsai and pre-bonsai, created by agronomists Carlos Tramujas and Edson Anderman in 2007. With more than 5,000 m² of cultivated area, it is now a benchmark in the national market by applying the concept of industrial scale and agronomic rigor to a traditional artisanal art.

Official Timetable
- 7:45 AM – Passengers congregating in the Barigui Park parking lot. (BR-277)
- 8:00 AM – The bus departed on time.
- 08:20 – Quick stop for boarding at the Hotel Nacional Inn (Santa Felicidade).
- 09:40 – Estimated arrival at the Bonsai do Campo nursery (Porto Amazonas). Guided tour, viewing of rare species, photos and shopping.
- 12:30 – Board the bus and depart for Palmeira.
- 1:00 PM – Arrival at Girassol Restaurant (Palmeira).
Lunch break and rest for the group.
Note: For lunch we will have a selection of dishes and snacks. The cost is the responsibility of each passenger.
- 2:30 PM – Boarding and beginning of our return to Curitiba.
- 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Expected arrival at Barigui Park.
Important Notices to Participants
- Punctuality: Our group is large (50 people), so boarding times will be strictly adhered to. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
- Clothing and Footwear: The nursery is located in a rural area and has walking paths. Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes (sneakers or boots) and bring a jacket.
- Insect repellent and sunscreen: We suggest using it for protection against insects and sun exposure.
