A renowned bonsai artist and educator from Argentina, with an international career since 1999, Sergio has won numerous awards in his country and abroad. He was also co-editor of the Bonsai Manual and founder of the Bonsai Puntoar magazine. Trained in Argentina, Brazil, and Italy, he has given workshops, demonstrations, and lectures in more than 20 countries in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, participating in highly relevant events and organizations such as FELAB (Latin American and Caribbean Federation of Bonsai Artists). Bonsai), WBFF (World Bonsai Friendship Federation), Bonsai Namaste, Black Scissors, WORBAC and various congresses in China and India.

Creator of the Argento Bonsai School (both in-person and online), founder of the cincoBARRAcinco study group, president of the Argentine Bonsai Association, and mentor of numerous educational and artistic projects, he is considered one of the central figures in contemporary Latin American bonsai.

Internationally acclaimed, Sergio was appointed Ambassador to China, International Consultant for the WBFF World Federation, and curator of important exhibitions. His work combines teaching, exhibition, design, and cultural promotion of bonsai with a modern, global, and highly engaging vision.
