With the participation of representatives from more than 20 countries across different continents, the XV FELAB 2026 International Congress will be a landmark in cultural and artistic exchange, consolidating Brazil as a reference in the global Bonsai Art scene. The event has the support of the Japanese-Brazilian Cultural and Beneficent Association of Curitiba – NIKKEI Curitiba, highlighting its commitment to the integration of the Japanese-Brazilian community and the promotion of oriental culture and arts.

Historical commemorations

The 15th FELAB International Congress will also be the stage for important celebrations in the history between Brazil and Japan. In 2026, we will commemorate the 118th anniversary of the arrival of the Kasato Maru, the ship that brought the first Japanese immigrants to Brazil in 1908. This event will be a special preview to also celebrate 131 years of commercial relations between Brazil and Japan, reinforcing the historical and cultural ties between the two countries.
