Luis Vila's journey with bonsai spans more than 25 years, always marked by a relentless pursuit of quality. From the beginning, Luis sought out the best masters, those whose vision of bonsai was most aligned with his own. Marco Invernizzi, Takeo Kawabe, and Imai Chiharu, among others, contributed to him finding his path through their teachings.

Currently known on social media as "El Tim Bonsai," Luis continues to study bonsai from the most contemporary perspectives and has been working closely with Naoki Maeoka, whose school he runs in Spain.

He has established schools throughout Spain and Europe, where he teaches using a unique methodology. Theoretical and interactive classes complement the practical aspects of bonsai.

He also travels regularly to America and Europe, participating in events, conferences, and demonstrations, where he shares his approach to bonsai, knowledge, and techniques.

Luis is also at the forefront of World Bonsai University, uWBU is an international platform dedicated to the in-depth study of the art of bonsai, offering structured courses, technical content, and practical workshops. With a modern and didactic approach, WBU promotes continuous training, combining traditional fundamentals, contemporary techniques, and the experiences of recognized experts. Its goal is to broaden access to high-quality knowledge and train bonsai enthusiasts who are more prepared, sensitive, and connected to the essence of the art.
