Get ready for a historic event! Brazil will host the XV International FELAB Congress 2026, the largest bonsai meeting in Latin America, bringing together more than 500 renowned bonsai artists and professionals in a unique spectacle that promises to enchant and inspire.
The event takes place in Positive Events Center, located within Barigui Park, one of the main venues dedicated to large events in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.

All Bonsai and Suiseki on display at the event will be carefully photographed, and the images will undergo special editing to create an exclusive book, available in digital and printed versions.
This work will be much more than a photographic record: it will highlight the best Bonsai and Suiseki of the event, in addition to presenting all the works exhibited by the participants, valuing every detail and each artist involved.
The book will be a historic landmark, celebrating the grandeur of the event and perpetuating its beauty and inspiration for future generations.

Director and Curator
The event director and exhibition curator is Carlos Tramujas, an international reference in the Art of Bonsai in Latin America. Co-owner of Bonsai of the Field and Brazilian delegate in FELAB (Latin American and Caribbean Bonsai Federation), Tramujas has an impressive career. Graduated as an agricultural engineer from the Federal University of Paraná, he has been practicing bonsai for almost 40 years, dedicating his life to perfecting and promoting the art.
Throughout his career, Carlos Tramujas has participated in events all over the world, including countries such as Japan, China, Taiwan, Spain and France. On these occasions, he has played a variety of roles, from journalistic coverage to practical demonstrations, lectures and workshops. His in-depth knowledge has also resulted in a vast production of articles for specialized magazines, with emphasis on his role as editor-in-chief of the prestigious Spanish magazine Bonsai Passion.
During the period he worked at the company Mistral Bonsai, in Spain, Tramujas led the Publications Department, contributing significantly to the literature on bonsai in Europe. He is currently an accredited instructor by Bonsai Clubs International (BCI) and directs the Carlos Tramujas Advanced Bonsai School, where he trains new generations of artists.
Another milestone in his career is his recent appointment as Honorary Ambassador of the World Bonsai Friendship Federation (WBFF), one of the most important organizations in the bonsai universe. In August 2026, Tramujas will represent Brazil in the 10th World Bonsai Convention, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, reinforcing its role as an ambassador of art on the global stage.
